People in Manhattan Beach and the surrounding area are very committed to quality education. The Education Committee will help bring more awareness and action to some of the issues that schools face. The goals for the coming year are to support a career expo, provide teacher and staff recognition, volunteer and offer other needed support.

The Career EXPO at Mira Costa High School, March 23, 2010 had over 70 businesses, services, and education opportunities for more than 1000 students to explore.
The next Career EXPO at Mira Costa High School will be Spring 2011.
